Our Story
Our story is one of hope and resilience — for 20 years, Sizakuyenza has stood alongside abused women, children, and vulnerable families in Philippi, offering safety, healing, and empowerment to help them rebuild their lives with dignity.

Victim Empowerment Program
At Sizakuyenza, we recognize that ending Gender-Based Violence (GBV) requires more than individual interventions — it calls for collective action, awareness, and education within our communities.
Children and Families Program
At Sizakuyenza, we understand that children experience loss and grief in deeply personal ways that can affect their sense of safety, development, and wellbeing. Our specialised counselling service provides a safe and supportive space where children can express their feelings, process their experiences, and begin to heal.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH
The program engages communities in Philippi and surrounding areas to prevent and respond to gender-based violence. Through awareness campaigns, door-to-door outreach, and community dialogues, we challenge harmful norms, promote safety, and encourage survivors to access available support services.
